Dear
David,
I wanted to let
you know that Eddie did such a wonderful job hosting this photo
safari. He treated the entire group as guests of his
home country. He knew that most of us had a limited understanding
of Spanish and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure
that we felt comfortable. He was so flexible and offered
us several suggestions and options for our daily outings and even
stayed late to have dinner with us, translate ;-) have fun, get
to know us, and also offered outstanding photographic advice on
how to get the best angle on a particular point of interest and
how to set the lighting on our cameras, etc. Eddie made the
trip that much more enjoyable because of his extra effort.
As a result, we were able to experience Buenos Aires far beyond
what a traditional tourist would see on a typical tour. He
showed us Buenos Aires from a personal perspective, providing all
of the history and answering all of our questions so openly and
honestly. He was a great tour guide, and I am so glad that
I had the opportunity to experience Buenos Aires from "his
eyes."
Thanks again for
offering such a fantastic trip and tour guide,
Sincerely,
Kathy Passmore

Kathy, you are so
right...Eddie was the best part of Buenos Aires! We are so fortunate
to have had him. Can't wait till we all start sharing photos.
Sorry I missed you
at BWI. I stopped at the TSA and got forms and phone numbers to
file a claim on my camera, or, possibly even get it BACK! I guess
they sometime remove cameras and such, and although they usually
return them, sometimes they forget. So , I'll keep everyone posted!

Eddie –
Cannot thank you
enough for being such an outstanding guide during the Buenos Aires
trip. It was a thoroughly delightful time!
It was so helpful
for us to have you show us where to go for just the best shots,
and how to shoot each subject. I learned so much, especially
about how to take better people pictures, which was what I most
wanted to learn.
Thanks again for
everything! (and let’s start planning for Cuba)

David,
The photo safari to Buenos Aires was magnificent.
Eddie was the consummate guide and instructor. Not only did
we see, touch and smell Buenos Aires, but he provided an opportunity
for us to glimpse into the soul of Argentina. This made the
difference between photos of "what I did on my summer vacation"
and our photos of the spirit of Argentina.
Eddie was every
attentive to everyone's needs and desires to make this trip memorable.
Personally, on the morning of the second day, I faced a potential
disaster. For the first time, I had changed the flash card
on my new digital SLR. I was a little too enthusiastic.
I jammed the pins in the body of the camera and two of them were
touching. Eddy calmly approached the problem. We stepped
into the antique store we were standing in front of and he asked
the woman in the store if she could help us. She happily offered
a long needle and crochet hook. Eddie was able to reposition
the pins and gently inserted the new flash card.
With Eddie providing
us with the opportunity to experience the spirit and soul of Argentina,
it became a trip of a life time.
I look forward to
taking future photosafaris.
Sincerely,
Ann
